Post Completions Paralegal

Maze Recruitment Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Post Completions Paralegal to join their team in Manchester City Centre.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support on all post-completion matters across the property teams, ensuring optimum performance and efficiency, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications, including transfers, leases, charges, CN1s, RXs, and other related documents.
- Raising queries with the Land Registry on behalf of Fee Earners and dealing with their responses.
- Dealing with Land Registry requisitions and ensuring timely completion of registrations.
- Entering and updating the electronic Post Completion checklist in Partner.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes to Land Registry procedures and SDLT/LTT regulations.
- Drafting and submitting SDLT/LTT Returns, calculating payable amounts, and arranging payment to HMRC/WRA.
- Registering charges and debentures at Companies House and satisfying them within the required timeframe.
- Carrying out OS1, OS2, SIM, and Bankruptcy searches, adding OS1/OS2 expiry dates to SharePoint, and requesting official copies and copy documents.
- Obtaining and paying for copy documents, such as planning decisions, from Local Authorities.
- Preparing and submitting property searches using Searchflow's online system and distributing search results to Fee Earners.
- Experience with P4W or another case management system, such as Proclaim, is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical and organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- A flexible individual with good planning skills and the ability to manage quick changes to process.
- Possess excellent communication skills and be professional and credible.
- Experience with commercial and residential property post-completion is essential, with property finance/banking post-completion being desirable.
- A strong team player who is comfortable working with different teams.
