Import Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Import Coordinator to join our Operations Team at First Choice Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the import process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate customs entries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate import jobs from start to finish, including air, sea, and road freight
  • Ensure accurate and timely customs entries
  • Prioritize customer service workload and communicate order changes promptly
  • Provide training on in-house computer systems and ensure quality and quantity of work is at a high level
  • Liaise with customers on system-related issues

Desirable Skills:

  • Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Cargowise and air and sea modes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused and able to work to tight deadlines
  • High level of PC literacy and team player

Working Pattern:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0800-1730 hours
  • Office-based
