About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Swim Teacher at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our swimming team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

As an Assistant Swim Teacher, you will work closely with our experienced swim teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for assisting with lesson planning, delivering swimming lessons, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the delivery of swimming lessons to children and adults, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Contribute to the development of swimming programmes and lesson plans, working closely with our swim teachers and other team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Level 1 swimming teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, parents, and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • DBS check required.
