About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Swim Teacher at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our swimming team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

As an Assistant Swim Teacher, you will work closely with our experienced swim teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages customers to achieve their goals. You will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of swimming lessons, communicating with customers and their parents, and ensuring the safety and discipline of customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Communicate with customers and their parents to provide feedback and guidance on their progress
  • Supervise customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas to ensure their safety and discipline
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Level 1 swimming teaching qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
