Artificial Intelligence Engineer – Premier Quantitative Trading Firm

Type: Full-Time

Location: London, UK

WFH: 3 Days working from home per month

Role:

We are currently seeking the next generation of Artificial Intelligence Engineers to collaborate closely with cross-asset quantitative researchers. You will be responsible for addressing intricate and significant machine learning challenges. Your contributions will be vital in developing and deploying cutting-edge models that influence our research and trading strategies.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can quickly adapt and concentrate on utilizing machine learning to improve trading efficiency while gaining valuable insights into optimizing custom machine learning architectures to identify performance bottlenecks.

As a forward-thinking trading house, we value proactive individuals who are not hesitant to introduce new ideas to the organization, regardless of the outcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with quantitative researchers to design and implement sophisticated machine learning models.
  2. Develop scalable and efficient algorithms for data analysis and forecasting.
  3. Enhance and refine existing machine learning frameworks and infrastructure.
  4. Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and incorporate relevant techniques into our research pipeline.
  5. Contribute to the development of proprietary datasets and feature engineering processes.
  6. Effectively communicate findings and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  1. Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  2. 2+ years of professional experience as an 'Artificial Intelligence Engineer'.
  3. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn being advantageous.
  4. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
