Job Description

Boeing Defence UK is seeking a skilled Procurement Agent to support fixed wing military derivative programmes. This role will involve implementing supplier management and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with Boeing's associated processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier management strategies to ensure compliance with Boeing's processes.
  • Integrate programme, customer product, and in-service strategies into overall supply chain solution development.
  • Create supply chain architecture strategies and support internal make-buy decisions to meet customer needs.
  • Support bid package development, including supplier source selection and proposal evaluation.
  • Establish flexible and innovative contracting strategies.
  • Prepare and complete negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conduct risk issue and opportunity management.
  • Support supply and demand schedule management, supplier quality delivery, and financial performance.
  • Initiate and carry out supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies.
  • Provide strategic and transactional support to the purchase of goods and services.
  • Support the development and maintenance of relationships and partnerships with senior partners, peers, and functional areas.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in supporting proposals, contract terms, and conditions development, and negotiation efforts.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to acquire UK SC security clearance.
  • Social skills and customer focus are critical to success in this role.

  • Experience working with SAP tools and systems.
  • Experience in working within high-impact bid and proposal teams.
