Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Practitioner to join our team at Waterfront Surgery. As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical examinations and assessments to patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Develop and implement care plans in consultation with patients and in line with current practice guidelines.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, adhering to practice formularies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure evidence-based best practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualified General Practitioner with MRCGP and full GMC registration.
  • Experience working in primary care environments, with a strong understanding of GMS/PMS contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in SystmOne and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
