Main Responsibilities

The position is designed to bolster outcomes for elderly patients by delivering consistent in-service support and elevating the standard of care.

Operating within established clinical guidelines, the Specialist in Geriatrics and Frailty will collaborate closely with the medical team to provide care for older individuals requiring specialized attention. This role involves both direct and indirect supervision from senior medical professionals, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.

Essential Criteria

Qualification in Geriatrics or related field Completion of a Management or Leadership course Registered Nurse in Adult or Child care

Certification in Advanced Life Support

Evidence of participation in research and quality improvement initiatives

Skills & Abilities

Desirable Criteria

Advanced skills in Geriatric care or actively pursuing such qualifications
