Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic Geriatrics and Frailty team at BHRUT. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor to develop their skills in Elderly Care and Frailty, working closely with our experienced medical and nursing teams.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Attending daily consultant-led ward rounds and maintaining an overview of all ward patients
  • Actively participating in facilitating discharges on the ward
  • Participating in outpatient clinics, teaching, and training, as well as audit and data collection
  • Supporting and supervising junior doctors on the ward
  • Participating in the middle grade on-call rota, covering a range of clinical responsibilities for adults with emergency problems

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registration with the GMC
  • At least 1 year of experience at registrar level
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Geriatric Medicine and a strong understanding of CPD. UK NHS experience is also highly desirable.
