We are seeking a dedicated and values-oriented Operational Network/Area Manager to oversee the delivery of Residential & Supported Living Services.

Position: Operational Network Manager

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Salary: £43,089.00-£48,445.00 per year

Contract: Permanent, Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview:

This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to lead a team committed to supporting individuals with learning or mental disabilities, enabling them to cultivate independent living skills and enjoy a fulfilling life.

As the Operational Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Directors and will be tasked with delivering effective, values-driven leadership to your team while ensuring the smooth operation of services and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage operations, including Registered Manager duties for supported living/residential support.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality support to individuals receiving services.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide values-driven leadership to both management and staff teams.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and external partners to exchange best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Ensure effective management of vacancies and coordination of referrals and assessments.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be values-driven with strong leadership capabilities. Essential skills and experience include:

  • Proven experience in leading teams within a residential and supported living environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulations and best practices in the residential care sector.
  • Experience as a Registered Manager in a comparable setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
