Your Role

As a Highly Specialist Oncology Dietitian, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert nutritional care to patients across various oncology pathways. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical leadership within the General Oncology Team, supporting and mentoring Specialist Dietitians.
  • Managing a diverse caseload of inpatient and outpatient oncology patients, including those with gynecological, hepatobiliary, pulmonary, and other cancers.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based nutritional care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of oncology services through research, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual with:

  • A recognized qualification in dietetics (e.g., BSc Hons Dietetics, MSc Dietetics).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Significant experience working as an oncology dietitian.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nutritional care practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
