Specialist Dietitian - Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, covering a period of maternity leave for 9 months.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced dietitian to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) patients. As a member of our supportive team, you will have the opportunity to work with complex surgical and oncology patients, providing nutritional interventions and supporting their recovery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide dietetic support to UGI in and outpatients, including complex surgical and oncology patients
  • Support nutritional interventions, including oral nutrition, enteral feeding, and long-term management of complex patients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

Person Specification:

  • HCPC registered
  • Qualified Dietitian (degree, post-graduate diploma or equivalent)
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
