Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) to play a pivotal role in the energy sector with PWE Recruitment Group. This position offers an opportunity to engage in operational leadership while managing diverse teams and contributing significantly to offshore Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Offshore Construction Manager, you will:
1. Direct the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the efficient execution of all Offshore HUC tasks.
2. Monitor and report on offshore progress, generating Daily Progress Reports and validating work packs, RAMS, materials, and equipment.
3. Facilitate daily offshore coordination meetings, enhancing project reporting data.
4. Assist in manning, material logistics, and cost assessments, addressing delays and evaluating personnel qualifications.
5. Adhere to company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety and incident documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of GCSE/'O' Level education; Trade NVQ Level 3 or an Engineering Degree.
- Technical training in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- IOSH Safety Management Training (preferred).
- HUET or BOSIET and GWO Basic Safety Training certifications.
- Chester Step + UK Offshore Medical certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in the offshore industry, demonstrating operational leadership and knowledge of CDM 2015.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety protocols, cost-saving strategies, and exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities, financial acumen, and IT skills.
