Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Control and Instrumentation Engineer - Systems to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Capability and Capacity team, you will play a crucial role in the development and integration of complex systems within our Submarine program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and testing of integration, testing, and validation of complex systems within the Submarine.
  • Develop and manage requirements and accepting criteria for systems or products, and/or across systems of systems, platforms, or programs.
  • Support documentation required for design review processes, including diagrams, technical specifications, supporting calculations, design evidence, and justifications.
  • Test documentation and execute to ensure solutions developed satisfy associated requirements.
  • Support activities to develop learning and skills.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent qualification and engineering background.
  • Keen and willingness to learn and develop skillset.
  • Knowledge of Mathworks toolsets, particularly in the development of control system models.
