Reliability Engineer

Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our International Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of commercial aircraft.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing analysis to identify and report trends related to system anomalies, equipment discrepancies, and performance reliability problems. You will lead on data analysis to evaluate reported discrepancies, determine root cause, develop solutions, recommendations, and presentations for leadership, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To utilize knowledge of various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and systems, with the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering technical information.
- Develop retrofit plans and monitor fleet performance on specific reliability projects, creating supply chain test plans, laying out specific work scope requirements, and specific repair order instructions to improve the reliability of aircraft components.
- Perform research and lead discussions with component manufacturers and operators to develop innovative and effective solutions to increase reliability and/or save cost on repair schemes.
- Generate business cases and cost/benefit analyses of modifications and other maintenance recommendations.
- Lead research on complex technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by MRO suppliers.
- Analyze and report data to monitor relevant Reliability KPIs, such as removals per 1000/hrs, LTU, FOF, and NFF rates.
- Lead root cause analysis and develop solutions and recommendations for the continuous improvement of Engineering KPIs.
- Create presentations for key internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, suppliers, and customers.
- Perform comprehensive FRACAS analyses on failed components.
- Perform liaison functionality with airlines, supply chain partners, internal repair facilities, and internal/external stakeholders.
As a Reliability Engineer at Arden White, you will work closely with our International Engineering team to identify and resolve issues and communicate regular updates to colleagues across the UK and international offices, as well as airline customers.
