Procurement and Supply Chain Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain professional to join our team at MWH Treatment. As an Assistant Buyer/ Buyer, you will play a key role in providing procurement and supply chain activities in line with Company and Client policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and process consolidated invoicing for key Framework suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain supplier records within our ERP system, IFS, and proactively manage committed costs to optimize efficiency.
  • Support the Procurement team in various duties, including reporting, cost analysis, and supplier performance management.
  • Develop and issue tender packages with stakeholders to improve supplier performance and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Manage commercial terms, conditions, and levels of service with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Maintain and enhance our ERP system, IFS, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and develop excellent working relationships with Clients, Customers, Suppliers, and internal functions.
  • Provide open and honest feedback, maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Collaborate with the SHEQ team to ensure the supply chain meets Health and Safety obligations and takes corrective action when necessary.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Harness innovative solutions from existing and future supply chain partners.
  • Undertake additional duties, training, and hours of work as reasonably required.
  • Ensure continuous professional development through external networking, conferences, associations, groups, and training.
  • Present a professional and positive image of the department/company in all internal and external contact.
