Job Title: Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering multiple projects with various types of works, including refurbishments, commercial new build, extensions, and projects up to £5m.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular project performance reports, including a full monthly report
  • Manage up to multiple site teams, ensuring smooth project execution
  • Provide information for inclusion within tender submissions, showcasing our company's capabilities
  • Deliver contracts within agreed contract conditions and timeframes, ensuring timely completion
  • Line manage Senior Site Managers and their site teams, providing leadership, direction, and guidance
  • Offer pre-construction and pre-contract advice to ensure the smooth running of site activities
Requirements:
  • IT literate, including Microsoft 365 and Excel
  • Knowledge of various types of contracts, including refurbishments and commercial new build
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • Detailed Health and Safety knowledge, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of building, material components, and building regulations
  • SMSTS, Relevant CSCS card, First Aid at Work, and a valid driving licence
  • A DBS check will be required for this position
