About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist/Marine Biologist to join our Ecosystem Solutions team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ecological and marine biological services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct marine biology assessments and produce comprehensive reports
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders
  • Assist in the management of small to medium-scale projects, with input on large-scale projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and partner organizations
  • Deliver technical work on complex projects
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and client communications
  • Participate in resource planning and contribute to the growth of the team
Requirements
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management
  • Appropriate BSc or equivalent qualification (MSc in a relevant environmental discipline is highly desirable)
  • Ability to produce clear and concise deliverables to a high technical standard
  • Highly organized and able to work efficiently and effectively to deadlines
  • Good knowledge of relevant environmental/ecology legislation
  • Understanding of the UK planning system in relation to development and the integration of ecology
  • Proficient user of MS Office software and ideally ArcGIS
  • Full clean UK driving license
