Ecological Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist to join our team at Allen & York, a leading ecological consultancy based in Hampshire. As an Ecologist, you will play a crucial role in managing projects, preparing reports, and undertaking surveys to ensure the successful delivery of our clients' projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Conduct ecological surveys and assessments to inform project decisions.
- Collaborate with senior staff on larger and more complex projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., ecology, biology, environmental science).
- Membership to CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management).
- At least one Natural England protected species class licence or progressing towards it.
- Proven experience in ecological project management and survey techniques.
- Knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation, policy, and guidance.
