About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant Bank to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Assist the chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
- Assist with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Requirements
- A passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
