Key Responsibilities:- Generate and issue invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions, ensuring seamless financial management.
- Set up new customer accounts in the accounting system, ensuring efficient financial operations.
- Match payments received with corresponding invoices, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Perform collection calls, letters, and follow-up actions to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Resolve queries both internally and externally regarding outstanding invoices.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers for payment, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to the finance department's growth and efficiency by implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in credit control, sales ledger, and financial administration.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Navision accounting software.
- Exceptional communication (phone and email) and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to liaise with colleagues from other disciplines.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- Advanced Excel skills required, with the ability to adapt to emerging finance technologies quickly and easily.
