Position Overview

This role is primarily region-based, involving approximately 60% travel and 40% remote work. You will be in regular contact with your team of three People Partners, each responsible for distinct geographical areas.

Your Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will partner with senior leaders, from the Operating Board to Divisional Directors and Senior Managers, serving as a trusted advisor and business partner. Your primary focus will be on supporting the execution of our business and workforce strategies by developing and implementing strategic people initiatives. This entails translating our overarching strategy into actionable people plans, ensuring that business objectives and metrics are achieved, and fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and engagement with business leaders.

You will also be tasked with enabling, embedding, and sustaining business transformations, fostering deep and meaningful relationships that yield business benefits, identifying and nurturing talent interventions and capabilities, and leading cyclical talent, performance, and reward processes. Your success will be gauged by your ability to achieve these outcomes, contribute to the growth and development of the divisions you collaborate with, and enhance business performance through effective people strategies.

You are a seasoned HR professional with a proven history of delivering impactful people strategies in dynamic and complex commercial environments. You comprehend the commercial implications of HR functions, with evidence of leveraging people strategies to achieve outstanding business results. As an exceptional communicator, you possess strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization. With a commercial perspective and the ability to analyze and utilize data for informed decision-making, you excel at crafting and executing people strategies that support transformational change, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. As a trusted advisor and coach, you exhibit agility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement, driving positive momentum on key people metrics and delivering sustained outcomes that contribute to business success.

You should maintain connections with ongoing initiatives and collaborate effectively with others to leverage their expertise. An agile mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to adapt your leadership style based on your audience are essential for effective influence.

Essential Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner in fast-paced, complex commercial organizations.
  • Proven ability to utilize people strategies to achieve significant business outcomes.
  • Experience in developing and executing people plans, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Background in managing substantial business and HR organizational change and transformation.
  • Expertise in talent management.
  • Strong influencing, partnering, and relationship-building skills with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, drawing insights to inform business recommendations.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies through experience in agile environments is preferred.
  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Learning agility and the ability to grow.
  • Experience in organizational effectiveness and design in the context of business partnering.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in agile environments.
  • Formal project or program management qualifications (e.g., MSP, Prince2, PMP) or experience managing programs of work, including governance.
