Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Advisor within the Protective Security Advisory Team (PSAT). In this role, you will provide comprehensive, independent, and impartial technical security guidance to various government sectors and clients. Your responsibilities will encompass detailed advisory services, transforming user needs into technical specifications, and conducting thorough system evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Advisor, your primary focus will be on offering expert advice on protective physical security measures. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrating extensive technical knowledge in physical security, with a proven track record in protective measures such as barriers, structures, locking mechanisms, and high-velocity mitigation.
  • Exhibiting exceptional communication skills to engage with clients and represent the organization at high-level meetings, facilitating complex discussions and negotiations.
  • Delivering targeted technical security training to staff and external clients as needed.
  • Exhibiting strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to lead a small team when necessary.
  • Managing financial aspects including estimating, job costing, invoicing, and budget oversight.
  • Maintaining a flexible work approach, with a readiness to attend site meetings and other locations as required.
  • Possessing a working knowledge of relevant British, European, and governmental security standards, alongside quality assurance and health & safety policies.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to enhance knowledge in electronic security and integrate it with physical security measures.
Licenses and Qualifications
Applicants must hold a full UK Driving Licence and possess relevant qualifications such as ONC/OND/HNC/HND/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent recognized qualification in physical security.
