We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physical Security Advisor to join our team at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. As a key member of our Protective Security Advisory Team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance on physical security matters to support the delivery of our programmes and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-depth technical security advice and guidance on physical security matters to support the delivery of our programmes and projects.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Develop and implement security plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our personnel and assets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that security requirements are integrated into project plans and deliverables.
- Provide training and awareness sessions to staff on physical security best practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for updates to our security policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in physical security, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Knowledge of security standards and regulations, including those related to physical security.
