Position: Corporate Communications Manager

We are currently on the lookout for a Corporate Communications Manager to assist the Head of Corporate Communications. This role promises a diverse range of responsibilities that will keep your day engaging. You will excel in crafting various communications across multiple platforms, including press releases, podcasts, industry videos, and communications aimed at promoting our work across sectors such as hotels, pubs, restaurants, childcare, healthcare, convenience retail, leisure, and medical.

This full-time position is based in London and may occasionally require travel throughout the UK. A competitive salary package will be provided, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The primary focus of this role will be on the Hotels, Pubs & Restaurants, and Retail & Leisure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sector teams to formulate communication strategies and content plans.
  • Source and edit content by working closely with colleagues to develop compelling narratives.
  • Address journalist inquiries and cultivate media relationships, ensuring timely responses from subject matter experts.
  • Oversee campaign communications by partnering with marketing and design teams to implement initiatives across the business.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including coordinating corporate news, drafting press releases, and producing award submissions.
  • Handle social media by creating and scheduling posts to highlight corporate news and relevant content.
  • Support internal communication channels by managing and uploading content to the intranet and newsletters.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Communications or Marketing role, preferably within a professional services context.
  • Exceptional copywriting and content development abilities, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to brand standards.
  • Strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines while engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing media inquiries and conducting proactive outreach.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and communications, including content management systems and online newsletters.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and SharePoint communication platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in B2B social media management.
  • Previous experience in a PR agency is advantageous.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong reporting skills focused on measurement and effectiveness.
  • Desirable: Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like Salesforce and social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite.
