MEP Senior Cost Manager

We are seeking an experienced MEP Senior Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) specific deliverables within large projects or direct MEP commissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish early budgets and cost plans for projects
  • Manage design teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Tender and procure MEP services, including single and two-stage tenders
  • Post-contract reporting to clients
  • Assist with feasibility studies and write procurement reports
  • Estimate and cost plan projects, including producing and presenting final cost plans to clients
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients
  • Interface with clients and other consultants throughout project stages
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good knowledge of MEP systems and supply chain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
