Job Title: MEP Senior Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Senior Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) specific deliverables within large projects or direct MEP commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission Management: Assist in feasibility studies, write procurement reports, estimate and cost plan, tender and procure, and manage post-contract cost variances.
  • Cost Planning: Produce and present final cost plans to clients, manage pre-qualification stages, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.
  • Client Interface: Interact with clients and other consultants at all project stages, negotiate and agree final accounts, and lead a cost management team as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the project lifecycle.
  • Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards.
  • Degree or HNC level qualification.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and supply chain, with experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients.
