About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team at Tunbridge Wells Age UK. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting older clients to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to clients with daily living tasks, such as household chores, shopping, and medical appointments.
  • Assist clients with social activities and outings, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., social work, nursing) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and business insurance.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
