Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Buying Department

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Buying Department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to Category Directors, including diary management, meeting coordination, and expense processing.
  • Process fuel forms, complete purchase orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Attend team meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Liaise with the Development Kitchen, arrange supplier dinners, and coordinate trade show attendance.
  • Manage new starter and leaver processes, including GSCOP training and policy distribution.
  • Monitor supplier mailboxes, update email groups, and maintain stationery supplies.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of administration experience, ideally in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload.
