About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Sussex, working with children and young people who are experiencing mental health crises. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering crisis assessments, brief interventions, and developing skills and competencies in activities of daily living.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for young people with complex mental health needs
  • Deliver interventions and support to young people and their families in a community and home setting
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to manage a team caseload and contribute to the management of a team
  • Travel across Sussex to deliver services and support to young people and their families
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC or HCPC or Social Work England via a core professional qualification
  • Experience in risk management and working with people with mental health problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and varied role, with flexibility to include some bank holidays/weekends and evening work
  • Own transport is essential for this role
