Learning and Development Business Partner

Reed Specialist Recruitment is delighted to support our client, a highly successful organisation, in their search for a Learning and Development Business Partner to join their team.
This exciting new role is focused on improving the learning academy, enhancing the learning experience for employees, building relationships with the business, conducting needs analysis, and supporting key L&D projects around onboarding employees, building school engagement programmes, apprenticeship programmes, and career pathways.
Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to improve L&D service efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers, employees, and administrators to ensure compliance with legislative and best practice.
- Ensure knowledge and learning are shared within the team to aid professional development and service.
- Develop and maintain effective staff and industrial relations.
- Contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Corporate L&D programme.
- Evaluate the return on investment of learning and development.
- Quality assure content and delivery of externally sourced mandatory training providers.
- Assist with the delivery of the Training Academy for all staff and support maximising personal and business performance and career progression.
- Support the manager with "Academy training & development Programmes" to include:
- Internships, Apprenticeships, Student Placements, Graduate Programmes.
- Corporate Induction (internal/ external, Mandatory training).
- Partners - supply chain/ contractor and sub-contractor.
- Support the absence policy across the team, providing employees with advice in relation to the sickness absence policy.
- Assist with Health and Wellbeing initiatives & delivery of action plans.
- Provide accurate and timely reports, commentary, and trend analysis for management on KPIs.Criteria
Bachelor's Degree or above, in HR or a Business related discipline & at least two years' experience delivering and supporting a L&D function. Or 4 years' experience delivering and supporting a Learning & Development function. L&D experience to include:
- Assessment of learning and development needs of employees.
- Support the implementation & delivery of learning and development programmes.
- Support the evaluation of learning and development programmes.
Experience of supporting & delivering service improvements within an HR or L&D role. Experience of working in an L&D Function within a wider HR Team. A current full driving licence & access to a suitable form of transport.
- Excellent communication able to produce professional content & presentations.
