Job Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager

Major Ashford Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Home Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies, promoting a culture of openness and transparency.
  • Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, promoting a safe and healthy environment for all.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, supporting their individual needs and goals.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • Experience in a children's home setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including sleep ins, and maintain a high level of energy and motivation.
  • Full UK driving licence, with a clean driving record.
