Job Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager

Major Ashford Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies, promoting a culture of openness and transparency.
  • Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, promoting a safe and healthy environment for our young people.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and providing supervision and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs and promoting a culture of learning and growth.
  • Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, maximizing opportunities for their development and well-being.
  • Provide support to the deputy/manager of the home, performing senior duties as directed and contributing to the overall management of the home.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience in a children's home setting (essential).
  • Passion for working with young people and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep ins, and a full UK driving licence (essential).
