Senior Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in providing superior quality Engineering Design services to minimize risks and maximize profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Produce cost-effective design layouts that meet the requirements of the specification and can be constructed and commissioned effectively. This includes considering all costs associated with the design and subsequent construction, such as design time costs, material costs, and erection costs.
  • Standard Practices: Utilize standard practices wherever possible to maintain competitiveness and provide estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
  • Procedure Development: Work to established procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the department, including developing and monitoring procedures and processes.
  • Design Coordination: Ensure the coordination of designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWH Treatment to ensure that the design processes carried out on the contract are coordinated for the benefit of the contract as a whole.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Assure customer satisfaction by working within a culture where satisfying the customer is recognized as the key to achieving other objectives.
  • Personal Development: Maintain a personal development plan and assist in supervising and developing staff.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that designs take full regard of all health and safety requirements and reduce waste to a minimum from all departmental activities.
