Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment, based in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cost-effective design layouts that meet project specifications and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
  • Ensure that standard practices are utilized wherever possible to maintain high-quality engineering services.
  • Provide estimates and feedback for proposals to support the company's growth and development.
  • Work closely with the RDL to develop and implement procedures and processes that ensure the continuing development of the department.
  • Monitor and review procedures and processes to ensure they are efficient and effective.
  • Write, update, and monitor efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
  • Coordinate designs with internal and external disciplines to ensure that design processes are carried out effectively.
  • Work within a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and recognizes the importance of meeting customer needs.
  • Ensure that designs take account of environmental issues and health and safety requirements.
