Role Overview
Lead and inspire a team, ensuring their development, providing clear direction, and offering constructive feedback. Collaborate with culinary teams to deconstruct dishes into their components for accurate recipe documentation. Oversee the maintenance and updates of ERP systems and internal databases, ensuring recipes, pricing, and galley plans are current. Collect and analyze dish weights post-presentation. Develop comprehensive delivery plans (menus) and galley plans (packing strategies) within the system. Calculate and assess Bill of Materials (BOM). Address and resolve operational and production challenges. Assist in generating operational reports as needed. Be a forward-thinking leader, consistently striving to surpass targets and expectations, innovating processes for data collection while fostering team cohesion and culture. Cultivate positive working relationships with all DO & CO team members, partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Take ownership of actions, support your team, and celebrate collective achievements.Required Qualifications
A passion for high-end cuisine and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. A polished, professional demeanor with a positive attitude that embraces team success. The ability to champion positive change within DO & CO, demonstrating self-motivation and resilience in a dynamic environment. Exceptional attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English, utilizing various methods to keep the team informed. Adaptability in thought processes, making efficient decisions and managing change to ensure alignment with our partners and the DO & CO ethos. Experience with Navision or similar ERP systems across diverse sectors, including high-end food retail, hospitality, or events, with a focus on gourmet food and recipes. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in report generation. Flexibility in work availability is essential, as operations run seven days a week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Eligibility to work in the UK.Additional Insights
