Role Overview

As a Lead Culinary Specialist, you will take ownership of a specific section within our dynamic production kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to exacting standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every creation.

  • Culinary Expertise: Masterfully prepare and cook dishes according to precise specifications, showcasing your culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate effectively with the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and supportive team environment. Guide and mentor Kitchen Helpers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance their development.
  • Quality Assurance: Utilize your culinary knowledge to maintain the highest quality standards throughout your section and the entire kitchen operation.
  • Operational Support: Assist Sous Chefs with various kitchen management duties, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the production kitchen.
  • Hygiene & Sanitation: Play an active role in upholding impeccable hygiene standards within your designated section and the overall kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie, demonstrating proficiency across multiple culinary sections.
  • Exceptional knife skills and a passion for precision cooking.
  • Experience in airline catering is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume culinary environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English.
