About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Specialist + Rotational Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab as well as CT or MRI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Expertise: Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab as well as CT or MRI.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
  • Leadership and Development: Take an active part to supervise and develop junior colleagues.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and, can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
  • IV Cannulation: Competency in IV cannulation is essential.
  • Policy and Procedure: Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Compliance: Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • On-Call Rota: Participate in Cath lab, X-ray + CT on call rota (within scope of practice).
