Cath Lab Specialist + Rotational Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Specialist + Rotational Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, as well as CT or MRI.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Diagnostic Imaging Services: Provide expert-level diagnostic imaging services for a diverse range of patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities to ensure seamless patient care.
- Supervise and Develop Junior Colleagues: Take an active role in mentoring and developing junior radiographers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in Quality Assurance: Contribute to departmental audits and quality assurance programs, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Ensure Equipment Safety and Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for purpose, reporting any faults or issues in accordance with Nuffield Health policy.
- Provide Input to Departmental Policy: Contribute to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policies and procedural changes, ensuring alignment with Nuffield Health's values and standards.
- Postgraduate Qualification and/or High Levels of Technical Knowledge: Possess a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, with a strong understanding of cardiac imaging and diagnostic techniques.
- Experience in Cath Lab Procedures: Have more than 3 years' experience in a variety of cath lab procedures, with a strong focus on cardiac imaging and patient care.
- Excellent Communication and Team Working Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and team working abilities, with a patient-centered approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
