About the Role:

A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising and Development Officer to join a leading charity in the UK.

As a key member of the fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to support the charity's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and stakeholders to secure funding and resources.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, trusts, and corporate partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of donations, grants, and other fundraising activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to donors, supporters, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
