CornerStone is a leading, award-winning, independent international Security Risk Consultancy. We are a dynamic and growing team, and we are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Awareness: Develop a deep understanding of specific industry sectors or have a detailed knowledge of sectors in which CornerStone operates, and be able to adapt and communicate our value proposition.
  • Sales Lead Generation: Identify sales and procurement cycles of target organisations, self-generate sales leads, and work with marketing to organise targeted campaigns.
  • Lead Management: Manage and develop qualified sales leads, generated by the marketing team, and deliver high-quality service to new and existing clients.
  • Sales Strategy: Create a sales plan to migrate new clients from Business Development to Key Accounts, and develop Key Accounts in partnership with the Bid team and sales team.
  • CRM Management: Sound knowledge of using and logging information on a CRM platform.
  • Client Relationships: Excellent listening skills, tenacious in driving clients through the sales funnel, and a strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach to convert leads and nurture opportunities through to a close.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of business development manager experience in a similar role, ideally selling consultancy or other professional services.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in multi-discipline projects with IT/AV, Physical Security, HVM.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience in presenting ideas in a consultative manner at the highest executive level.
