Job Title: Senior Wastewater Modeller

At Thames Water, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wastewater Modeller to join our team. As a key member of our wastewater modelling team, you will be responsible for building and developing models on modelling software to analyse and work on data sources to ensure we evaluate network performance and the impact of change at pipe and system levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex wastewater models using industry-leading software.
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of modelling results.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on wastewater modelling best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in wastewater modelling.
Requirements:
  • Hold a STEM-related degree (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
  • Proven experience in wastewater modelling, preferably with ICM software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of £40,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Annual leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays).
