Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant - Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a "Good" Ofsted rated Primary School in Suffolk. This is a long-term supply position covering Year 2/3, starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and offer feedback to teachers.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the Year 2/3 curriculum.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  • Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and supporting students' learning journey.
