About the Role:
As Director of Logistics and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading the despatch team and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the despatch team to achieve operational excellence and drive sustainable improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize pick rates, monitor and control pallets and trays, and deliver a high-quality product to customers
- Ensure that the team is working in line with all HSE policies and procedures
- Manage mobile handling equipment and haulier contracts
- Deliver departmental budgets in line with the company budget and forecasts
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Leadership Development
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety requirements
