Role Overview:
As an Event Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and efficient working atmosphere at Dorset Software. You will be part of the Operations Team, focusing on various responsibilities that enhance employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Travel Coordination:
  • Facilitate travel arrangements to allow employees to concentrate on their core responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather travel requirements for client visits or events.
  • Engage with service providers to secure optimal travel solutions (accommodations, transportation, etc.).
  • Execute travel bookings in accordance with company protocols.
  • Support the Facilities team in maintaining a well-organized office environment.

Event Coordination:
  • Organize a variety of social gatherings throughout the year to promote interdepartmental connections.
  • Work alongside HR to plan employee engagement initiatives (team lunches, celebrations) while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to coordinate larger company events, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
