About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Healthcare Service Technician to join our team at PHS Group Limited. As a key member of our healthcare division, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and waste management in our customers' facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive to customer locations on pre-arranged routes, collecting and disposing of medical waste, pharmaceutical waste, and sharps containers.
  • Support Covid testing stations by collecting sealed waste and completing hazardous consignment notes/transfer notes.
  • Replace, empty, and maintain various products within our customers' healthcare facilities.
  • Return to the allocated depot daily to empty the waste from the vehicle.
Requirements
  • Hold a full UK manual driving licence for a minimum of 12 months, with a maximum of 6 points.
  • Not have DR/DD/CD/TT/IN/AC endorsements in the past 5 years.
  • Preferably hold a current ADR Class 6, 6.1 & 6.2.
  • Be able to work flexibly between the hours of 6am and 6pm, 40 hours per week.
