About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Custody Officer to join our team in Prisoner Escort and Custody Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on their physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
  • Search property or people as required, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure food and drink are available to detainees, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Our Assessment Process

Our assessment process includes:
