Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Services leader to join our Estates & Facilities Management team at the University of Brighton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective maintenance delivery strategies to ensure the smooth operation of our university estate.
- Provide leadership and line management to the Estates maintenance team, including objective setting, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Support the procurement and management of a reliable and efficient supply chain of maintenance contractors, materials suppliers, and specialist consultants.
Requirements:
- A HND qualification or equivalent in a maintenance or construction-related subject and relevant professional health & Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH).
- Advanced technical knowledge of mechanical & electrical plant & building systems.
- Proven experience of leading large operational teams delivering maintenance across multiple sites.
