Job Summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team as a key member of our facilities management team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant at various retail sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance work, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
  • Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, prioritizing and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
  • Work with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPIs, monitoring and updating the Mercury system accurately to ensure live job updates from you and your team at all times.

Requirements

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or recognized apprenticeship equivalent.
  • 18th Edition qualification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
