About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out modifications and installations as required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimize reliability and maintainability.
  • Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service to all operational equipment, ensuring all key performance indicators are met.
  • Liaise with contractors or external suppliers as needed, and complete any required paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and diligent manner, and report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in failure of service delivery, risk to health and safety, or environmental impact.

Requirements

  • Appropriate up-to-date training, such as NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline).
  • Good knowledge of building statutory compliance.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, and possess good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
